comment How to put DayOfWeek value into file name?
Note that that won't work on 64-bit Windows, as you cannot run 16-bit programs there. I'd consider it a poor solution.

comment .bat files to find all files on drive bigger than X
You've given the code snippet | foreach-object{ //dosomething } which – for PowerShell – might read | foreach-object{ <# dosomething #> }. At least I thought it to be customary to use the language's own comment marker for such things ;)

comment .bat files to find all files on drive bigger than X
Besides, you may want to use an actual PowerShell comment instead of a C++ one ;-)

comment Powershell; pipe stdout to commandline
Ah, sorry; skimmed the question a bit too shallowly. Agreed, then it's a quite dangerous thing to do. You could perhaps read the file, tokenize the contents and build a hashmap from it. After that you can use the splat operator (provided you're on PS2) to explicitly only use them as arguments to gci, negating the option to inject other commands (at least as far as I can see now).

comment How to use a config file (ini, conf,…) with a Powershell Script ? Is it possible?
You can handle comments easily by just adding another case to the switch with '^#' {}. Also you can access hashtable contents with a dot as well, so $links.vendors.link1 should work too which might be a little better to read.

comment How to send the current working directory as an argument in windows?
This isn't an environment variable; it's merely a "pseudo-variable". Whenever you use those, keep in mind to delete an actual variable of that name before as their magic doesn't work when a variable with that name exists.

comment How to launch PowerShell script from the OS command line?
If said file manager is Far, then you can trivially change what runs when pressing enter on a .ps1 file.

comment How to launch PowerShell script from the OS command line?
Note that there are good reasons that this is not the default setting.

comment Powershell - can I avoid typing .\ if I want to execute something from the current folder?
There are also some nice 3rd party tab completion things that may make this interaction nicer.

comment SQL, pl/sql, sqlplus: how to return a variable to DOS batch file?
weji: It's not a DOS batch file unless you happen to run it in command.com. cmd.exe uses a superficially similar syntax but is much more powerful with many extensions. They are not the same and somewhere a kitten dies every time someone calls Windows batch files DOS batch files.

Note that this is not DOS. I'd edit your post if I had sufficient rep.

Ah, well that syntax errors cause malfunction is hardly unexpected, isn't it? ;-)
