comment Rebooting Server 2008 R2 with Task Scheduler?
It makes sense to try running a batch file from the command line to make sure it works before scheduling it and keeping your fingers crossed it runs as scheduled.

comment Windows server 2003 TS printer redirection
Unchecked. In the Client Settings Tab the wording is: "Disable the following:" So you check what you want DISabled. By the way. On mine, LPT port mapping, Audio Mapping and COM port mapping are CHECKED. Everything else is UNChecked. And my printers work fine :)

Did you check the network settings against a machine the server "sees" ?

if the server "sees" other Vista machine, check DNS settings of the one that is not showing up against one of the others. I'm going to guess :) that The server is all up to date as well as the Vista machine with Windows updates
