comment Install existing SSL certificate on Dell iDRAC7
Wildcard certificates are supported at least on CMC v5. Format for the private key is PEM. Format for the certificate is PEM with the CA bundle (PEM) concatenated to the end of the issued cert. The CMC did not appear to restart so I manually issued a cmcchangeover for good measure.

comment Dell Blade DRAC remote: Unable to connect to RAC
The credentials I have in the post are for example only, and I am able to log in successfully via other avenues. iDRACs have IP addresses: confirmed in CMC GUI/CLI and on the LCD, they are pingable, I can access the iDRAC web interface, and can SSH into the SMASH-CLP CLI for each iDRAC instance.

comment PHP-FPM output errors to be handled by php application with nginx
Assuming these are runtime errors you're talking about, are you using set_error_handler? Also, does your implementation work in any other environments, (e.g. could docker be the problem, what about non php-fpm envs?)

comment How to “restart” particular network interface on RHEL?
Might I suggest ifdown eth1 && ifup eth1, this way ifup doesn't run unless ifdown was successful, whereas with a ; ifup will run regardless of how ifdown returned.

comment Is X.Y.Z.0 a valid IP address?
they are choosing to drop packets to 0.0.0.255 most likely for security purposes. 1) DOS attacks can happen by leveraging the power of a broadcast packet and 2) to completely privatize the network so no hosts can broadcast. see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_traffic#Security

comment In Nginx, how can I rewrite all http requests to https while maintaining sub-domain?
thank you! nginx would either return 301 https://*/ or cancel the request prematurely in the other answers here. server_name _; with $host was the answer that did the trick. +1
