I've been a full-time ESRI software user for more than 15 years and now working with open-source tools (QGIS, PostGIS, GDAL/OGR, web-based GIS) so I can "choose the right tool for the job". I primarily use Python for developing new tools and database maniupulation.

I am particularly interested is applying GIS to business analytics to enhance retail and real estate BI and decision-making during site selection, trade area analysis, customer research, and marketing through the addition of spatial and demographic analysis.
