@Jason Could you please post the output of ls -lad /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0.openjdk.x86_64 /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0.openjdk.x86_64/bin and ls -la /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0.openjdk.x86_64/bin/java This may help to fix the problem.
