comment Change different domain account without being admin Windows
I think you're answering someone else's question. I have 2 domain accounts. One I can log into. The other I have a password for but have to change the password before I can log in via RDP, thus, I have a need to change it without logging in with it.

You gave me a clue that fixed it...the Internet Connection Sharing...I was running HyperV on this box. To get the networking to work with the virtual switch you have to bridge the virtual switches network adapter with the one that will be using the connection. I broke the bridge and viola! everything worked.

comment VMware Host Copy File from catalog to VM/ISO mounting not working
Yeah, we tried that a number of times. In the end it turned out that you have to name the file *.iso. You can't upload it and tell the system that it's an iso, you have to force the issue.

comment Can I completely disable ASP.NET in IIS, together with all side effects?
If you want to host websites without having .net at all, I'd suggest looking at Apache, Apache Tomcat, zope, bottle.py, node.js or any number of other non .net free webservers

@romkyns For the server, go to "Request Filtering" click Deny File Extension and add aspx, cs, vb, asax, etc. It'll effectively disable asp.net. You can't remove asp.net without removing iis.
