comment How can I delay sshd login after bad password
Kaji I tried running these command but couln't find any difference ,also running first and fourth give me iptables: The state match is obsolete. Use conntrack instead.

Thanks kaji for your response but Do I need to add "iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 22 -m state --state NEW -m recent --set --name DEFAULT --rsource" to some configuration file?

Thanks Aditya for your response ,one more doubt would like to ask if subnets bits are not given ,how do we identity a network? Is it based on Classful addressing then?

comment Vlan Tagging at Access Port in Switch
Mike Pennington thanks for your response ,very simple behavior would like to ask ,when a packets from end station hits switch's access port ,will it be tagged or only when frame hit the trunk will be tagged. This is behavior wanted to confirm on. Can access port do the valn tagging ?
