comment how to scale a web application - common patterns
thnx, but i am wondering specifically - if i have a web app (or wordpress as an example) is it just easy as that - deploy it on multiple servers and add load balancer, or is there something special than needs to be done for the app to work on multiple servers (provided of course that the database is already separated)?

no. no elastic ip. no elastic load balancer. 4MB of traffic, or if you want it 0.004GB... and it is ubuntu 10.04, no updates. (just put it in a single comment so they don't get hidden ;)
