comment Linux: productive sysadmins without root (securing intellectual property)?
Ugh. BTDT. You've got 99 problems and only 1 of them is technical...

comment No IPv6 & DNSSEC support on cc-TLD? (practical implications)
Very common configuration for networks transitioning from IPv4 only to dual-stack throughout. I can't come up with any reason this possibly could have deserved a downvote.

comment MX priority server behaviour
Incorrect. Not just the A records pointed to by the MX records, but the specified domain A record is also used as a last resort case in determining the mail host.

comment Wisdom of switching from Windows to redundant linux boxes for DHCP servers?

comment Is it OK to run my own mail server for email forwarding?
I used to do my own mail server. Outsourcing is attractive, but I've been burned as they suck in you with low rates (that you can't match yourself), but then start jacking up the price. Also, my uptime with my own server was just as good... I may be switching back to hosting my own again soon.

comment Is RDS really *the* one stop shop solution?
@vic Yes, thin clients can be setup to auto-connect to the domain/system desktop login. Pretty much anything you want, they can do if you get a decent model...

comment How can I choose a default interface for sourcing traffic?
Tracing the traffic I'm sourcing, destined for the Internet, is coming out on a non-gateway interface onto a local VLAN.
