Configuring EC2 Instance Hi Philip, As you were saying "it's performing poorly at peak times, is it possible to increase the amount of memory on the instance somehow", i would suggest you to have a look at the Auto Scaling - which can "scale" your instance power as per the load. you can have a look at "docs.amazonwebservices.com/AutoScaling/latest/… if AutoScaling is what you are looking for, then we can provide more info on that... |

Amazon EC2 instance has ssh access but can't be pinged Hi, Could you please provide us little more info... 1. You tried to ping the server from same Zone or another zone or from your desktop or from where exactly? 2. do you have any load balancer or VPC configured? the instance in question belongs to any VPC?? 3. the instance is ping'able from other instances? 4. if you have already resolved this issue, could you please post the steps so that new users can learn from this... |
