I currently work as a Site Reliability Engineer at Google London.
Before that, I ran a one-man game development studio called Frozen Fractal.
I studied Computing Science in Groningen, The Netherlands. I am experienced in C, C++, C#, Java and Python, and have some experience with PHP, Javascript, Perl and Haskell, among others.
I am also the author of Taekwindow, a Windows utility that enables Alt+drag style moving and resizing of windows, common in many X11 window managers.

Invalid method in request: method seems halfway in request-url If you want to remove all doubt that your webserver is free of blame, sniff the traffic using tcpdump or wireshark. |

Invalid method in request: method seems halfway in request-url It might also be a broken proxy or some kind of client-side firewall that filters requests. It is unusual, though not illegal, to pass arguments to a PDF file. Maybe some exploit for the Acrobat Reader plugin uses that, and the firewall is trying to scrub the request but breaks it instead? |

Invalid method in request: method seems halfway in request-url Are you sure that it's your JavaScript (and not some random buggy scraper/spider/bot) that's sending these requests? Do the IP addresses and timestamps line up with that JavaScript being sent out to them earlier? |

Can Windows power manager stop SYS HDD, if it is not in use? Probably, something is using the drive in the background. Either way, this is more of a question for Server Fault. |

Linux command line best practices and tips? That's kind of scary, actually... especially when you copy/paste from a terminal or website where the prompt ends with '>'... |
