comment Is there really any need to use a RAID with SSDs ?
Oh I still love SAS but there's going to be a HUGE shift to M.2 PCIe as almost all new Skylake based machines will have a slot on their motherboards and they're the same price & smaller. Oh and you can hotswap NVMe if your system/OS supports.

comment How to make VMs get LAN IPs from ESXi 6 Host
Where do you expect these VMs to get their IPs from? You're lack of detail here is shockingly lazy.

You're clearly out of your depth, get some training, read the documentation or both - this site is NOT for beginners, we make this very clear when you sign up - you've skipped or ignored it.

comment Bizarre Vsphere Issue - administrator account can login to a host via console, but user can't
Can you set the password to something super simple to ensure it's not a character-table mismatch, something like 'ABCDEFGH' or similar. Also does this behavior remain if you use SSH?

comment BUG CONFIRMED: No performance data for VMXNET3 in ESXi 6.0?
I will when it's formally logged as a bug, they're still testing it as I logged it quite late in the business day where I am (UK)

comment BUG CONFIRMED: No performance data for VMXNET3 in ESXi 6.0?
Yep, it's broken in both, when I first responded I thought was on a v6 vCSA but it was a v5.5 which threw me, that worked fine but I wanted to be sure so built a small lab setup to prove it and you're right, it doesn't work - I've logged it with vmw though now.

"the hardware seller company which my company works with" are IDIOTS and would be reprimanded by HP if they found out - use HP disks please.
