Not much to say. Been playing with computers for >80% of my life. Unix >75%. I also dabble in music, ham radio and brewing.

comment is it possible to restore a deleted raw partition after a new partition & volume was created
The 3rd question depends on the data originally in the volume and is very subjective. Please tell us what kind of data was stored on the volume? Filesystem, Oracle Database, something else. The answer to the first 2 questions is 1 - Not if data has been written to the space occupied by the original partition. 2 - You may be able to recover some data depending how much has been overwritten.

comment DRBD configuration
It is possible, just a very bad idea. That is the reason cluster filesystems provide a way for the nodes to communicate about updates, locks, etc.

comment NAT translation with Cisco ASA 5505
It may be a typo but it looks like you are defining 2 different addresses. XX.XX.115.195 for the static translation and XX.XX.115.194 in the ACLs.

Steve are you running this on Windows, BSD, Linux, OSX, or some other OS? If you are running it on Windows the details for some steps will be different.
