comment what can I do when the server refused to connect by ssh
+1 Always ensure console-level access to a server, that's also why virtual servers are so nice.

comment Centralized change of resolution in Windows
Why would you ever want to do that? The screen resolution is an individual machine-specific setting that each client should handle by itself to fit the display attached.

comment GPO: how to limit the users able to logon to PC?
Why is this a requirement in the first place? If there's some kind of security concern behind this policy I would be concerned it's misunderstood ^^

comment Does Microsoft TMG 2010 handle websockets, at least through SSL?
Oh, I haven't even thought about the reverse condition, establishing websocket connections to outside sites. Well, in this case for a published site I've disabled every type of content filtering that exists on the TMG without success. For some reason the SSL doesn't help either, something with the bridging that disturbs it perhaps.

comment Full direct bi-directional data swap between two storage volumes?
Perhaps the focus would be better directed at automating the restore process or automating the deployment of environment configurations - if those two are such a bother you want to avoid them, I'd want to fix them before doing anything else at all, really.

I see, well if the simple data swap fails you'll at least get to test those restore processes thoroughly which would be a Good Thing (TM )^^

comment Server 2008r2 doesn't reboot after patch Tuesday and can't remote into it
You always need KVM/IPKVM so you can peek at what a server is doing even when the operating system is unresponsive - at least if the server is somewhat important.
