comment SQL Server 2008 Unique Problem for bring DB Online
Nai, You stated that you are trying to move your destination logshipping database to another physical server, and the link you provided talks about attaching a database. My remark was focused on making certain that you have all of the data files. quick question: does the current destination logshipping database have multiple data files, and are they on an E: drive?

is your account using windows or sql authentication, and are you connected to your domain? i have seen issues with certain parts of SQL 2008 where i am running locally, not connected to a network, and get authentication issues.

comment Can Resource Governor for SQL Server 2008 be scripted?
could you explain a bit more about your desired goal? are you looking to alter the RG dynamically while applications are running? So, if you set a cap of 25% CPU, you want to be able to have it automatically be bumped to 35%?
