comment Vagrant / virtualbox DNS 10.0.2.3 not working
Just had the issue with an upgrade to the 4.2.20, "Using the host's resolver as a DNS proxy in NAT mode" did the trick for me too. Thx !

comment Can I use ext3 as a shared fs if I add a lock manager?
I will try GFS. Just had to ask that question to be sure that it was (or not) a solution.

Well, I know, but for example OCFS2 use a somewhat restrictive model of distributed lock : no lock, protected read (only one host can read at a time) and exclusive (only one host can access the file). What I need is the ability to read a file, even if it is accessed by another host.

for the moment, I think about using OCFS2. I'd like to know more about differences between this and GFS2 and have asked around, but to no avail.

edited, it's Debian Lenny 64bits. The key in your answer, I think, is "expose them to all hosts". I'm trying now.
