What are the options for expanding the available storage on a VPS? @MichaelHampton : I can see that your reputation precedes you, and it is clear that you have a great deal of expertise in this area. For this particular project I don't need high levels of reliability or availability (which perhaps I should've made more clear in my question). Is it possible to get a module to support a device that (sometimes) reports a wrong PCI ID? That sounds like a very good approach, I'll definitely give it a try and see what happens. If the card is usable when it's showing the wrong ID, I guess that adding that ID to the module's device list should work. Thanks a lot for your suggestion. |
