I am a Namibian/Brit living in Budapest, Hungary and working full-time as a Software Developer. I started using Ubuntu at the end of 2009 when I got my own computer. I liked the idea of Linux and decided to find out more about it. I eventually removed the Windows installation on my computer because it was problematic and because almost all the software I used on it was FLOSS anyway. I've been hooked ever since and am quickly becoming more knowledgeable on Linux, and through it, computers in general.

comment grep is inconsistently defaulting to grep -P?
I don't have enough rep to comment, but does it help if you use \grep with a backslash, instead of grep? I know you already said that it wasn't aliased, but in the off chance that it is, this should use an unaliased grep.

revised apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for ServerName
This answer didn't solve my problem until I changed the order of the names in the file, so I included it. I formatted some strings while I was here.
