comment Dell Optiplex 7010 Drivers do not install correctly during SCCM 2007 Deployment
What do the logs say? Do you know where the logs are located? At what step does it fail? Can you post your TS Steps?

comment Enable Certificate Enrollment Policy and Request a Cert using PowerShell
@HopelessN00b I did the same thing, however it would be cool to have a powershell way to do it for troubleshooting purposes at the very least, so it's still a pretty good question.

@EGr why in the world would you want to do that?

comment How would one run a task sequence within a task sequence in SCCM 2012 SP1
See my comment to kce for response to your process. In addition though, I'm sure you must have some overlap of tasks between task sequences, whereby when that step must change, you have to update each ts, no? That was really the driving force behind this question, as I had a lot of overlap, and the driver scenario was just the best example.

We've (they've now) experienced driver conflicts in the past between Dell models when using the blanket apply device driver ts step, because it behaves the same way as windows update does in re: to detecting drivers, whereas the apply driver package is a little more direct, it'd been a while son I can't remember the details. That was my thought process for doing one package per model, originally I had it setup just like you. Don't quote me yet, but I believe MS recommended this as well, but like I said, it's been a while so I could be wrong

comment Is it possible to set up a multi-boot system with SCCM?
I agree with @hopelessn00b, possible, but not the best way to go about it, and way more work than its worth. Great question though, but I would setup a hyper v box with test cm configurations, in fact, that's what I did :-)

comment How to find the creation date of a local user account?
Sorry Kevin, almost doesn't cut it for this particular solution. Specifically, this had to be done for computers in a lab, where the profile folders had to be deleted on a regular basis to keep the login times acceptable and wasted space down, so this solution is in no way plausible, as that date is just a folder creation date, not a user profile creation date.

comment Does the “bs” option in “dd” really improve the speed?
@DamianoVerzulli the table is cool, please ignore my rant, I gave you an upvote for proving our superstitions anyway, and I know firsthand that fiddling with the byte size will alter the speed, I might put it into an answer as well.

What would be extremely nice is a graph of several bs sizes plotted against speed instead of 15 dozen code blocks in a single question. Would take less space and be infinitely quicker to read. A picture truly is worth a thoursand words.

Just curious, if you increase the byte size, does that make a difference?
