comment puppet augeas with more than one array in a single key
I was wondering if it wasn't in grubmenulst.pp whether it was working by chance earlier under the autoloader. Maybe try separating it into three separate resources instead of using the combined syntax - it could be a parser bug? It's not to do with the Augeas integration, you're hitting a parsing/define loading issue before it gets anywhere near the Augeas provider.

I can't see that the error and the line you added are in any way related. Can you provide the file path that the define is in?

comment Augeas tasks are shown as changed, although the file wasn´t changed
Just to add, if you're using Puppet 3, you will now get the speedup when specifying only the context without needing to do lens/incl.

The only other suggestion I have is to use augeasfacter to get the current info in title[1] and then use the facts in the Augeas resource.

comment Why is it so difficult to upgrade between major versions of Red Hat and CentOS?
The new Fedora upgrade tool is called fedup. Three to four years sounds aggressive to me for major upgrades too, must installs I see last much more towards the 10+ year lifecycle of RHEL, so I'd encourage more regular minor upgrades.

comment Anyone else experiencing high rates of Linux server crashes during a leap second day?
Hubert, my understanding from Daniel's answer is that ntpd making the original leap second adjtimex call is causing the crash, so perhaps the presence of the flag indicates this event has passed without incident?

Hubert: run "adjtimex" (it's usually packaged separately) and look for flag 16 to indicate a leap second pending.
