comment How to lock down MySites but leave Profile Page visible to all?
This article is good but does not actually address my issue. I want people to use My Sites and am not trying to keep them from creating or using them. What I don't like however is that the group "NTAuthority\Authenticated Users" is by default in the Readers group because the user doesn't realize when they create new lists or libraries on their site that the entire world can get to it. So...how to remove this group BUT still retain the ability for everyone to see that person's public profile page?

Sam, also I have a test server with MOSS that is having the same problem. It is on the same domain. This server does not have any custom profile properties. The crawl log shows one error as follows - spsimport://myths The parameter is incorrect. Note MYTHS is my domain name. Any ideas?

Sam, thanks for responding. Yes I have added 5 additional columns of type string that are mapped to AD fields. Do you think this error could be caused by something with custom fields?

comment Search Keywords in MOSS
Nat, note that I discovered that keywords are not stored in the site collection but rather the SSP. You can see this by taking a STSADM backup of the site collection and then restoring it on another place, for which you'll see the keyword collection will be empty.
