comment upgrading to Apache 2.4: VirtualHost Invalid command 'AssignUserID'
I contacted the maintainer of the port apache24: "You need to load mpm-itk into apache 2.4. There is pending port with mpm-itk for apache 2.4: bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=188992 It's waiting for almost three months for some good soul to pick it up :)". Maybe someone can help in creating a port?

comment upgrading to Apache 2.4: VirtualHost Invalid command 'AssignUserID'
I installed on the new server Apache 2.4 and trying to use VirtualHost configuration files from Apache 2.2. Unfortunately there is no option Apache 2.4 with ITK_MPM, there are options MPM_PREFORK, MPM_WORKER, MPM_EVENT. I use FreeBSD 9.2.

comment Fail2Ban + BIND to ban “DNS format error from X.X.X.X resolving something.com/MX for client Y.Y.Y.Y: invalid response” or not to ban?
Requests from clients meeting the conditions of blocking according to the logs does not arrive. Block third-party IP that fall under the condition seems to me possible without consequences. Especially as their network and the customer can be added to the exceptions.

Is doing nothing would be more correct? If I understand correctly record a third-party IP try to use my DNS saying that the request is coming from my clients. If you block only third-party IP guess none of the customers are not affected.

We have many clients from small networks that are periodically serve incoming administrators. Get rid of viruses and other malicious software from them is impossible. The main task - to reduce the load of these users on the DNS.
