Are you sure the modules are in /lib/? On my machine I found these modules in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/md/

You can't use eth0 when it's attached to a bridge. br0 should be used instead. Your dns seems to work fine so you have a network connection working, maybe your gateway is blocking traffic. Try traceroute to see where it's blocked.

Try adding records like ::1 <hostname> to your hosts file. Looks like your network switches to ipv6 when the wireless NIC is disabled.
