comment Setting up Firewall in CentOS 6.4
I'm not sure what I did. I went to enter your suggested command using a -I instead of a -A (because posts say thats how you add a rule to the beginning of a file and not the end), then I entered service iptables save , and then restart, and when I went to pull up the iptabes to view there contents, this is now the only rule in the tables. And everything is now working as it should. Did I just empty out my firewall (good entires and bad), or is this all I need ?
