comment Shrinking and extending disks on Server while running?
Wait...are these just partitions off the same disk? If they are, you couldn't do this anyway since you can only extend to the right of the disk (at least, in Windows). You can't simply "borrow" space from another drive unless you get into the mucky areas around NTFS junctions which you should avoid.

comment Is RDP on Windows Server a viable solution for multiple concurrent access to one app?
@Sebas Don't do that...it's a hack at best and not appropriate for business use. Install the terminal server role on your server.

One gotcha: if it's not a terminal server, you're limited to 2 administrative RDP sessions. You need the Terminal Server role as well as the appropriate amount of CALs.

comment Migrating web site from local PC to Windows 2008 R2 (IIS 7.5)
Are you using IIS locally as well? There's literally no difference. There is however a major difference if you're going Apache -> IIS as you'd need to install PHP on your server.

comment What caused apache to crash?
The RAM spike is suspect...maybe a memory leak? It's very difficult to tell. The spike in apache instances tells me that something triggered the rapid spawning of apache workers which then eventually crashed. You'd likely have to see it happen and pull the logs as it becomes unstable.

comment How to configure Apache web server to redirect the requests it receives without modifying the source IP?
Right, dashes instead of underscores. Been doing too much programming recently...

comment How to configure Apache web server to redirect the requests it receives without modifying the source IP?
If I remember correctly, Apache sends a header (X_FORWARDED_FOR) that has the original client's IP. Can the application read this?

comment Issues with demoting a DC, remnants of failed SBS2011 DC still in directory
This relates to an RODC issue with replication, but the root cause also happens to be an orphaned DC hanging everything up: support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/949257

comment How to add disk back to RAID and replace removed
That isn't at all how RAID should be configured ...why do you have RAID over one disk?

comment Log Outgoing cURL Requests From PHP?
Write a wrapper to your cURL calls in your PHP script. You can "override" built-in functions. See this. If you have trouble, StackOverflow will be a better choice to get answers,

Did you confirm that the disk is actually good? There's a reason it went into a degraded state, you know.
