comment Synology and Active Directory - “no logon servers available”
Reboot of the DCs? The synology is timesynced via NTP, so I don't see the clocks getting that far out of sync...hm.

comment NTFS permissions explanation
So, in AD, User A and User B have the same permissions, right? User A is just local administrator on their machine and not a domain admin?

comment KCC replication issue when AD is behind firewall in Forest, any suggestions without changing firewall?
Nope. Configure the firewall so replication will work.

comment Server sending spam - how to find out why?
Either you have an email script exposed to the world or postfix is acting as an open relay. Check your mail server configuration. If you're not receiving mail on this box, block incoming SMTP.

comment Centos server keeps jumping to address instead of static assigned address
It appears none or static is dependent on the OS. RHEL5 changed it, but from the research I've done (like this wiki) CentOS still uses static.

comment How do I configure RAID 5, especially stripe size, with 24 x 1.2 TB drives for CentOS 6?
RAID 5 is what you do not want to use if you want performance...its write speeds can be terrible.

comment HAProxy with SSL and sticky sessions
@Ayelet Yes and no. You're using sticky sessions so you'll always get sent to the same backend until the configured timeout. Round-robin attempts to do this (different server on refresh), but from what I understand it can be random depending on node load.
