comment How to remove RC4 cipher from node.js https server running on Windows 2012 R2
@ChrisGciso could you post your entire https.createServer() and node.js version ? Strongly suspecting the config just isn't quite right. I remember fighting node.js for over a day fixing cipher lists about 9 months ago. Also note: the SSL/TLS registry changes and IISCrypto require a reboot, but I'm pretty sure Node uses openssl so I don't think those are relevant anyway.

@dtoubelis the registry changes definitely affect IIS (anything using Schannel). I don't think node.js uses Schannel on windows but either way that statement is not correct.

comment Hyper-V multiple virtual processors don't show up in virtual machine
Yes, it sees it as two independent processors / cores. It's working as you specified (2 virtual processors). If you want the graph to change, right click on the graph and choose "Change Graph To -> Logical Processors" and you'll see each virtual CPU usage separately.

What information are you looking at? Task Manager? By default Windows 8 shows a unified CPU % graph, not one per CPU, so that could be mistaken for only 1 vCPU. You should see a "Virtual processors" count on the same screen that lists actual # of virtual processors

comment What do the contents of PowerShell's $PSVersionTable represent?
PowerShell's built in help is one of my favorite features, and learning how to leverage it to guess and find things really helps speed up getting to know PowerShell. I should also note that I had no idea the documentation for this variable was in About_Automatic_Variables... what I actually typed was help PSVersionTable, and it listed help topics that mention PSVersionTable since there was not an exact match.

comment Retrieving Exchange 2010 Conference Room Calendar Statistics using PowerShell?
@organicit No, I haven't. That is a good idea but given it's a one off I think I will probably just load up the calendars to get this information.
