comment How do I temporarily suspend mail delivery to a specific domain (non-local) with Postfix?
Ok, my bad, mail sent locally with mailx is not checked because it's not sent to smtpd. Works very well :)

Looks like it doesn't work after all. Mail is immediately submitted. Maybe because I send mail from $mynetworks ? REJECT and DISCARD don't work either, I had to go with transport's error:

comment Multiple data centers and HTTP traffic: DNS Round Robin is the ONLY way to assure instant fail-over?
Absolutely, but you can't do that with rented servers, you need your own network.

WP Super Cache serves static content only if you're not logged in (based on cookies)

comment Multiple DNS records pointing to a single domain
If one connection fails, one of N customers' connection will fail too, N being the number of IN A records. This is due to DNS caching on the client side. When a client resolves a domain, if there are multiple records, there are multiple answers (randomly sorted). The first answer is then cached for TTL seconds. If you don't update your configuration when a host fails, at the end of the TTL, another query will occur, with 1/N chance to get the same host. Round robin DNS is not fail-over !

Sure, but it's more explicit and has the same syntax with -true

comment What values to set for Apache 2 worker server pool management?
Thank you for your advice. I set : StartServers 8 MaxClients 1024 MinSpareThreads 512 MaxSpareThreads 1024 ThreadsPerChild 64 MaxRequestsPerChild 10000 I chose greater values since the memory footprint is supposed to be much smaller. I noticed too that when running apachectl configtest (or start/stop) with weird values, it reports the error and auto adjusts the settings.
