Windows 7 and UltraVNC Mosty of these would have worked on any system, I was just far too lazy. We used another VNC client and things seemed to work appropriately. |

Chkdsk reports unrecoverable errors Ladies and gentleman, we have a winner. Testdisk, found on the Ultimate Boot CD, was able to find and recover the NTFS partition. Fixboot and/or fixmbr did not work, but MBRtool from Ultimate Boot CD did work. It was quite easy infact. Only issue is chkdsk took 2 hours to run after the repair. |

What is the SQLDump file for? The disk is full so transaction log writes failing at an astonishing rate. Thinking about wiping. |

What tool do you use to monitor your servers? We use it at our work. It is quite impressive. The inventory alone of hardware, not to mention software, is worth a look on it's own. |

DynDns with ISA Yes we are using the official client. It seemed odd to me as well, so we will give what you suggested a shot. |

DynDns with ISA Was already set open. TCP/View shows DynDNS updater on random ports numbered 47xx, with anywhere between 1-3 processes being spawned. |

What is the best way to identify unknown processes on windows? I have ever only had one malicious file from there and it was removed in an hour. I have pointed the link to filehippo.com instead. It's actually a good piece of software. |

Using IT management software Woah! I will delete if everyone is offended by this, I was really curious to know. We have been using it and for the most part it's decent but giving out weird alerts. |

What is the best way to identify unknown processes on windows? Luckily there is an option in Process Explorer to replace task manager. Too bad it opens slow sometimes. |
