Howdy!

I'm a human that loves good technology. I enjoy working with all parts of the toolset needed to create great software and I strongly believe in using my own lightweight systems instead of using large frameworks.

Over the last few years I've built production software on a variety of technology stacks: Swift on iOS, Java and Kotlin on Android, PHP and Symfony for a Web API, Angular for a web client, and Ruby and Rails for a web application. In the past I've worked on the Microsoft stack using C# and VB.NET but I greatly prefer the macOS desktop and Linux server environments.

I have strong communication skills that allow me to create exactly what is needed and also to explain processes, limitations, and tradeoffs inherent to technology.
