Active Directory uses some sort of proprietary hashing. I dropped a similar project, unable to find a solution.

"Public IPs cannot be routed on the Internet", don't you mean "Private"? Besides, they can be routed and are routed by some ISPs. But a best practice is to drop any private addressed packages in Internet routing, and most do.

Was living in my mothers basement at the time, so it's around that time, at least before 2000. Not sure if it's hard core or not; it was the next logical step after Slackware.

'svnadmin verify' would also be a good addition to the script in order to verify if the repository you just copied, is in fact valid.
