Are SSD drives as reliable as mechanical drives (2013)?
@AndrewVit We can guess based on non-natural endurance testing. If drive A can sustain maximum speed writes for five times longer than drive B, and you can repeat this with the majority of drives A and B, then you can extrapolate from that that drive A is significantly more durable. I wouldn't say five times more durable as that non-natural test ignores a lot of natural degradation, but it's the cell write limit that left early generation drives broken, not other factors (in general).
