I have been a Systems Administrator on some level since the 7th grade. I have used DOS, *nix, AIX, Novell, Windows and MAC. I tend to be a generalist but gravitate to Windows and MAC now, dabble with *nix and enjoy anything that uses 1's and 0's.

Currently I am the Director of Network Operation for SnappCloud.com.

RewriteRule ^/([\w\d]*).jsp$ /sb/jsp/$1.jsp [PT,NC,QSA,L] All my rewriter rules have the Flags in a single set of brackets for what it is worth..I had trouble with complex rules when I separated the flags.

DFS is Distributed File System...it is a role you can install on Windows Server 2k3 and 2k8. It took me a while to trust that you could put name spaces and replication would work but I will not host a file server with out it now. <microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/technologies/storage/dfs/…;

comment moving from 50% time sysadmin to full time sysadmin?
To be a great SysAd work comes down to three things. --solid troubleshooting skills --Checklists/organization --Personal Network (so you can reach out for help when needed) All the rest is about Google and Caffeine. Good luck!

cclist is found in c:\windows\system32\ if I remember correctly. I am not sure why core boxes do not honor path statements all the time but I have had the same issue from time to time.
