comment Cannot Get Ported Over Website to New Win2008 Server to Launch
I just updated this. Removing the Hostname allowed the page to load, but now I need to assign the hostname to the IP address.

The default website is browseable. It just shows the IIS7 image. I specified in the Bindings for the new site to use Port 80, but I don't know where else that may or may not need to be added/configured.

comment Expired Certificates and Active Directory Authentication
Any other ideas? I still get locked out daily. I can add that Outlook keeps poping up a Security Alert saying our Exchange Server has an invalid security certificate. I wonder if that could be causing this.

All of our mappings are controlled by a script in the Group Policy. However, I see one that has a Red X on it, so I disconnected from that. It'll reconnect the next time I log in, though. Fingers crossed!

Is there any more info I can add to help figure this out?

LOL - you're right. I thought it said 2013, not 2113. The Token Signing Public Key is still expired, though.

Multiple Services under Computer Management, all are logged on as either Local Service, Local System, or Network Service. Which one am I? Local Service? The Local Service shows a Password and a Confirm password, but the current data is hidden (naturally).

comment How do I remotely check for Microsoft .NET Framework 4?
I'm a PowerShell Noobie, you suggested PowerShell, so... My error is Parameter 'ComputerName' can not be null or empty. For PC named ENG-CLARK, do I simply paste that into the $ComputerName parameter?

We have an old 2000 server. It is supposed to push stuff out, but it doesn't always happen. ...or rarely seems to work as it should for large files like "the framework". I am not involved in the push configurations; I was simply tasked with going out to all of these 200 PCs to see if the push made it to them.

I think that's it ...but first I've got to watch the MS video "Learn It Now before It's an Emergency"

comment Are there internal Proxy Hackers?
People have been let go for things like this already. It could just be the whole anonymous thing that "squillman" indicated. Also, we have VNC installed on most machines like "Sibster" pointed out. I'll point my manager in these areas.

I didn't know what to call it. It seems like hacking to me. Thanks for the clarification, though!
