no, I don't need to capture the changes but I fear that changes could be captured partially (i.e. some files renamed/deleted etc.) and because it would be partially it would make it inconsistent.

Yeah, you're right.. I'm looking into incorporating the media content in the DB anyways and streaming it from there so the backup strategy would be simpler :)

So... having version 2.0.-1.-1 means I have the RTM? The reason for all the fuss is that some software (SharePoint 2010 beta for example) requires PowerShell 2.0 RTM
