comment Forwarded events not showing file path on event collector
You're getting the information you need, in the XML view. If the required feature/component is not installed on the server where you are viewing the event, it may not display correctly on the General tab.

comment Powershell script for SCVMM that queries VM's for name and removes the ones with a status of missing
Right, copying pasting code that has left/right quotes and an em dash aren't going to get you anywhere. Also, if you have a script and run it and it isn't working, you may want to include any errors or the result.

comment Group Policy to disable USB in windows 7 clients
No, that would only be if you had Windows XP clients, and only if this setting used Group Policy Preferences (it doesn't).

comment Group Policy to disable USB in windows 7 clients
Yes, you can edit the group policies from a Windows 7 computer with the Remote Server Administration Tools installed, and the policy will apply to all users/computers. It doesn't matter what computer you run GPMC from.

When you logged on to confirm that IE ESC is disabled, did you confirm the computer you were logged on to (hostname.exe or SET CO)? RD Connection Broker has a habit of redirecting you to another server if you connect to a specific server.
