comment Ubuntu 14.04 server - Out of memory (OOM killer) - what is causing my memory issue/leak?
We had an issue with mysql and a specific kernel version which caused it to go nuts after a couple of weeks. Do you have any other metrics that would show utilization over time?

comment How to send the output from a cronjob to multiple e-mail addresses?
IMHO this is the right answer. Who wants to maintain individual lists of email addresses in various crontabs?

comment Raid Controller not recognizing hdds after removal. Poweredge 6950
+1: Trying to import the foreign config is the right answer. For a Dell in the X950 series, the raid data is stored on the disks, so they should be available to import.

comment How can I set up a single DNS entry to go to multiple endpoints
@davidcl: That's the proper way to fail between two different IPs. Monkeying with the DNS will exacerbate problems. What if the first address starts going up and down due to some port flapping? You'd be pushing out a new DNS record over and over, and making the situation worse.
