Excellent. I'll post my response in the answer section. Please consider clicking the check mark for it if the issue is now resolved.

Just to confirm, does your MailScanner.conf explicitly reference Postfix (MTA = postfix)? It sounds like it's still trying to use Sendmail. Check out: webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1053325

comment What determines the name of registry entries under \Outlook\Resiliency\DisabledItem?
Thanks for the feedback. My understanding is that LoadBehavior is used to control the add-in's "active/inactive" state where as this other entry controls what Outlook calls the "enabled/disabled" state of the add-in. I've tried testing with various loadbehavior values and it doesn't seem to make a difference - if the add-in is marked as disabled in the DisabledItem key, Outlook leaves it off.

comment How can I determine exactly when a startup process loaded in relation to other processes after logging in?
Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to know. For others who may be wondering - the columns for Process Timeline / Start Time in process explorer are not enabled by default and can be added via View -> Select Columns -> Process Performance (tab).
