.TosString() isn't a method. Is that a typo?

comment Why can I not see a Computers GPO in my GPMC? How can I force a GP update without a Computers GPO?
The OP blurred the prefix on the "____ Users" OU, it is not named "Users" alone.

comment Allow access to a share on a workgroup using a user which is a part of a domain
The domain user needs to provide local credentials (non-domain) when connecting to the workgroup computer's share. The local credentials are defined on the workgroup computer which hosts the share.

Why the down vote on this? The question reads as well researched.

comment Getting Rid of the Old/Worthless Data Center Equipment
We just call one of the local computer/electronic recyclers. They send out a truck and couple guys to haul it away. I've never had them refuse to take something, computers, network gear, CRT/LCDs, projects, etc.

comment Windows 2012 fonts gone. Only Wingdings
What's in the C:\Windows\Fonts\ directory? Are other fonts present? Incidentally, that does not appear to be Windows built-in Wingdings.ttf glyphs.

comment Powershell IIS plugin - cmdlets not working
Have you tried Add-PSSnapin WebAdministration instead? The docs suggest the Import-Module on its own may not be sufficient.

comment How do I restore 1/2 of all files in a VSS image? aka Previous Version in bulk?
For 2008+ see diskshadow, for mounting in particular diskshadow expose. If you don't use a separate disk for VSS be aware "...high I/O load will cause shadow copies to be deleted..."

See my link above. The elevated console would not have access.

comment Access already mapped network drive in PowerShell
Are you running Powershell elevated? If so, please try running it without "Run as administrator". You would need to re-map the drive if running elevated. stackoverflow.com/questions/4742992/…

comment Reflect HKLM registry changes to HKCU
I would update your question to clarify that and any other requirements/constraints. Upon a re-read I still don't see anything about machine GUIDs noted. If you control Group Policy, you can set the HKLM and HKCU values, independently, to anything you like.

comment Reflect HKLM registry changes to HKCU
A change to a value under HKLM wouldn't update the HKCU value, not normally at least. I almost think you're trying to re-invent Loopback Processing. Perhaps you can clarify why you'd need to copy the value if you already control the Group Policy by which you could just set it for both HKLM and HKCU.

comment Block people searching for server admin pages
You can run something like fail2ban to block based on log activity. But do realize most of those "people" you want to block aren't. Bots gonna bot.

comment Know the time of the shutdowns of the server using GUI
@tony9099 In eventvwr, right click the System log and choose "Create custom view". Add the IDs you want, click OK and name it. You now have persistent, custom filtered event log view.
