comment IIS 8 Show Classic ASP Errors in Browser
Thanks, added two screen shots... At first I was kind of "MIFF"ed that you put the same screen shot I already had in the question.

I can do my testing on server, doesn't need to be remote. But I'll try that too. Updated question, with weird case where it actually worked.

comment IIS 8 Show Classic ASP Errors in Browser
Last night, I observed for the first time a message in the browser, but still about 95% of the time, browser just says "500 - Internal Error". Not sure why the 5% of the time it worked like I wanted.

Thanks, but how is that different from what I posted above? I already had it set to True as I stated.

comment Server configuration automation for windows server on ec2, how much can be done?
Was Powershell Desired State Configuration designed to accomplish the same thing? It's something new in PS 4.0 that I'm beginning to study.

comment How to enable or disable a ClusteredScheduledTask in Powershell 4.0
I don't want to remove it, just disable it for maybe an hour, then re-enable it. Is that not possible?

comment Powershell - Set-ClusteredScheduledTask - Error “Incorrect function.”
Thanks, I've opened a support ticket with Microsoft. At first they were telling me they don't support this, so I immediately asked to talk to a manager.

comment Powershell - Set-ClusteredScheduledTask - Error “Incorrect function.”
Did you actually run above code on a cluster, or is it a theoretical answer? Even though our cluster and failover for BizTalk and Windows is working fine, I'm wondering if something is defined wrong in clustering that causes the "Incorrect Function" for us in Powershell.

Any idea on the Update, still getting "Incorrect function" after making your change.

comment :Powershell Register-ClusteredScheduledTask from XML
That got past XML problem, now getting same error as reported here: serverfault.com/questions/623407/… (when not using XML). I thought maybe XML would be the way to get around the other error.

See update#2 to original question, got around Access Denied by doing "Run as Admin".

comment Powershell - Set-ClusteredScheduledTask - Error “Incorrect function.”
Okay, I isolated one thing. I was running under PowerGUI when I got "Incorrect function". Under ISE, both 86/64 I get Access Denied even though I am administrator.

That still gives me "Incorrect function". I copied/pasted exactly what you posted.

comment Powershell - Set-ClusteredScheduledTask - Error “Incorrect function.”
So why didn't it say "Task not found", if I tried to set a task that didn't exist. Why does that make it an 'incorrect function'? Which function is incorrect?

Right. I guess I have no idea how to read these errors. Is there something that tells me which parameter? I'm not sure what "CategoryInfo" is.

You right on, I was using the wrong commandlet. However, I get exact same error on the the Register. For now, I will amend question.

comment Windows Task Scheduler skips a scheduled interval
Excellent idea, but nothing interesting there. I looked, and nothing in App Event Log except some SQL timeouts at 3:05-3:07. Nothing in System log nor Setup log.

comment Licensing and Editions of Microsoft BizTalk and SQL for Development, QA, Stage vs Production
My coworker fears that if you don't test it on a cluster, it might not work on a cluster. The deploy to a cluster is somewhat different as well. I'm not quite as concerned.

comment Licensing and Editions of Microsoft BizTalk and SQL for Development, QA, Stage vs Production
Please see line one of my question: My question is more about "which edition" to use. Suppose I have all licenses I need, but still want to be cost effective and follow best-practices. Maybe #2 in my question is duplicate, but not #1 and #3.

comment Opening an archived “Application Event Log” (Hidden Directory)
Okay, more interesting results. If I type exactly as you provided, C:\Windows\Sysnative\winevt it works. If I break it into chunks, and do C:\Windows, then try to type Sysnative, it does not work. Great answer, thanks!
