comment Google Chrome says my SSL uses outdated security settings but other site tests disagree
Are both systems Windows 7 and are they both fully up to date?

comment Trying to mitigate Logjam on Apache 2.2.16
A couple of notes: not everyone can or even want to recompile their Apache to support SSLOpenSSLConfCmd. If you really feel like the Apache version that Debian ships is bad - report it to the Debian team. Since Debian uses an older version of Apache it makes sense to disable DH until they can release a newer version. If you feel that DH is secure and should be used - talk to the guys behind SSL Labs to flag it in their tests - this gives an A on their test and they seem like a fairly trustworthy source.

comment How secure is a bluetooth keyboard against password sniffing?
Sure - if you don't mind looking like this guy (and don't get arrested for carrying what looks like a gun..) - i.imgur.com/bsDLIcW.jpg . The reality of the situation is if you are really that worried your only recourse is not carry any electronics at all. I mean - to date you can't make micro hijacking equipment. It would be really difficult to hide something like i.imgur.com/MFbOE0C.png at your local starbucks while you are sipping your mocha latte.

comment Best practices for backing up Windows workstations to Linux server?
I'm using urbackup and I was skeptical at first but it seems to work fairly well. It doesn't seem to support image backups for Linux though. It requires a little technical knowledge but it was very easy to setup.

comment Bandwidth monitoring on KVM
That is a strange distro that requires gnome for virt-manager. Debian just wants gconf2 - the rest seem like Python libraries.

comment User Friendly port knocker (port knocking client) for Windows?
Trying to change the OP's environment is usually never a solution. In any case - I just want to add that there is no silver bullet to security. With that said - the client that was linked below was written with MFC (ugh) I think I will take it upon myself to write such an application in a more modern language.
