Sorry about that, got carried away with the testing. Well.. I've got a GTX video card, and the remote desktop connection is just way too slow. I thought I would be able to play games or something. But it's just not possible.

Thank you. I didn't know, that it will request a very new IP, with a brand new MAC. It's working now. (Now I have to fix up RemoteFX, since it's really terrible at the moment.)

What I don't get is: How would even an outside computer would reach the inner guest? I mean... in VMWare, you have a "Network Editor" application, where you can set up the NAT. Like forwarding out the default RDP port. But how to do the same in Windows Server / Hyper-V?

Yes, it can reach the outer network without problem. (External if I remember correctly.) I've also installed every update on the guest.

Basically there was some strange errors by lighttpd and the running server-side application kept crashing. The links + config helped me. Thanks.

Thaaat is a really good question. I think it does. It's a very high performance dedicated server from a German provider. (If you tell me how could I check it, I'll report back ASAP!)

Basically it's a machine which serves out a lot of dynamic webpage requests. The page uses ajax/php. | The other one serves out about 1k image every 30 min so to say. ... What would you say for these?

Yeah if you got the SSH issue thats a resolv or hosts. At least I fixed it with adding the proper hosts file. Versions dont matter if it works locally thats why I said THIS or THAT.

When you login from SSH does is it log you in instantly? If not its about resolv or something. If yes, then maybe you can try upgrading to a newer lighttpd / mysql(?) from the lighttpd site.
