comment Using Powershell's Invoke-command to install .exe on remote computer
I don't see anything parameters to the installer telling it to install non-interactively. Are you sure this thing is not trying to popup some kind of interactive window on the remote machine? The remote powershell server process is non-interactive. When you run it without -computer, it is using your local interactive session.

comment How to alter the global broadcast address (255.255.255.255) behavior on Windows?
As the windows stack is a fork of the BSD stack, I'm curious to know if BSD exhibits the same behaviour.

comment How to get coloured file listing in windows cmd shell?
yah, you don't want to use the 16-bit command.com a 32bit/64bit operating system. it runs like a pig, and is severely limited. it's just there for compatibility.

you don't even need the "cmd" bit; start on its own will fire off %comspec%
