In situations where bonjour works (local networks) you usually don't have strong limitations on IP addresses, unless you have a picky network operations group. You have trouble with limited IP addresses on public net systems where IPv4 addresses are limited.

comment Are PHP session files ever deleted?
"garbage collection" is used in different ways for different things. The session garbage collection exists since PHP 4.0 (which introduced the session module). What's new in 5.3 is the memory garbage collection for cleaning up cyclic references of PHP variables where the reference counting mechanism keeps them alive till request end. php.net/gc vs. php.net/session.gc-probability

comment configuring mysql cluster server

comment MySQL binlog format dilemma?
The safest way is to configure the master accordingly, create a consistent dump and create the slaves from that.

comment How is my VPS/server effected when many libraries are installed?
Also if you have really really really many libraries in /usr/lib it can become a bit slower as some file systems don't like directories with too many files. But hitting such a limitation on any current file system is unlikely.

comment MySQL data recovery (innoDB) - missing .frm files but intact ibdata
Note that you need ".ibd file and the CREATE TABLE statement" for this to work. The frm file includes all meta data MySQL needs. InnoDB has its own data dictionary but is missing some MySQL-specific information pieces.
