comment Supervisor silently fails to start/restart (nothing in logs)
@ch2500 I always install with sudo apt-get -y install supervisor so not sure why this time it's installed to a different location and also not sure why the default init script would not be configured to look in the directory the bins were installed in ....but looking into it

comment Tons of “invalid command \N” when restoring a dump
Ah no I did not use a newer version of pg_dump. If it works with an older version should I be OK or should I kill the process now and redump/re-restore?

comment flagstaff_subset is not empty error when using pg_upgrade
Doing everything manually and yes I do have postgis actually installed with the now dropped extension. This thread is me trying with the upgrade method but I'm back to trying with the restore method. Surprising how cumbersome the process is!

No step 8 exactly "/usr/local/pgsql/bin/psql -d postgres -f outputfile"

This is true but now it's making the same complaint about the template database because of the postgis extension. Of course when I remove the postgis extension it complains that I don't have a loaded library

Interesting. I was never given the launch wizard because I launched it through the marketplace - aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00CO7AVMY. So can I just shut down, create an AMI, and then launch a new instance with that new AMI? Doesn't seem too bad ...but I'm surprised not enabled by default

Can I add storage to an existing instance or do I need to shut down and restart? If I shut down, do I need to create an AMI and launch from that AMI?
