I'm not familiar with GoDaddy's DNS config tool, but DNS itself would have no issue with that. You could test it first by adding some test subdomain and different MX records for it. As for postfix, I'm not familiar with its config options. I'd say pass the address off to procmail, and in procmail you'd just have a recipe with "* ^X-Remote-Delivered-To: address" and the destination address/file/command on the next line.

comment missing disk space in AIX
I'd strongly suspect it is indeed unlinked files. To verify, either re-check with all the applications on the system not running, or use a too like lsof to look for unlinked files totaling the missing space. Depending on the version of lsof, it may either explicitly say unlinked or the partition mount point.

comment SSH hangs when executing command remotely
Look through your shell rc files for anything non-standard. Assuming bash, ~/.bashrc, ~/.bash_profile, and the corresponding /etc/bash* files if it happens for multiple users. Perhaps you can compare with another system (or another user if it's only to one user)?

comment iptables https transparent proxy with privoxy?
With HTTPS, the difference is if Firefox is set up to use a proxy it knows that it will not have end-to-end security. It may be possible to intercept the traffic itself, but you'll see an initial CONNECT or STARTTLS rather than GET and if any modification to the traffic is attempted the SSL layer will treat it as malicious interference (SSL security warnings). You could pass the traffic unmodified, but that doesn't sound like what you want to do.

comment What is a good default IP address?
Another vote for DHCP by default. If on a larger network or remote location, the person/network admin can set up fixed-address DHCP allocations based on the device MAC. If on a local subnet, the user can just ping the local broadcast address then look at/grep the arp table for the MAC.

Interesting. Further experimenting seems to indicate SSHD restricts logins if the passwd-specified shell doesn't exist. The design reasons why seems to be some people/systems still use invalid shell for "disabling" a user. Apparently specifying a shell works fine only if you already have some other working shell.

comment Is it possible to recover filed removed by rm in linux?
The no further writes can't be emphasized enough. It's not built-in, so "undeleting" is a matter of recovery software reassembling the remaining pieces before the filesystem overwrites the data with future writes.

comment Different versions of mod_dav_svn's accessing same repository at same time
Fair enough. I guess I've been spoiled by not having to deal with any non-synchronized authentication systems in a long time. Sorry I can't address the actual compatibility issue - I've never tried multiple servers on a repository before. I'd guess as long as NFS file locking is set up properly it has a good chance though.
