comment Hyper-V MAC Address collisions
I am having this same problem however my network and HyperV server is quite simple. I have one HyperV Server 2008 R2 Standard with three guest OSs. I've followed the advice about hardcoding the MAC addresses for the guest OSs and set them to 00-15-5D-01-01-01, 02 & 03 just to ensure they weren't in the 00-xx space. I'm still getting this problem on the new MAC Address.

comment Windows Server 2008 - Prevent Error Recovery screen on next boot
Awesome. I can confirm that, as hoped and expected, this works with Windows 2008 Server R2.

comment Why are these SCSI drives always clicking?
Agreed with the durability. I'm going to replace these but with 18 or 36 Gb SCSI hard drives. As these are mirrored I'll be sure to have a third or fourth available as backup.

Actauully no, by your own posting those hard drives are 12 years old.

So they've been failing for the last seven or eight years then? Do you have any real world experience with SCSI hard drives of that vintage? And yes I will be replacing them soon. OS Backups do happen on a very regular basis.
