Are you advocate? :) yumdownloader's --resolve do deep resolve, while in your solution is shallow resolve (only immediate dependencies are downloaded)

Nice try :) This however should be performed recursively - A depends on B, B depends on C and so on.

I need only to download packages, to be included in my distro. Do you know what yumdownloader --resolve is supposed to bing? Do you have a good reference to it? Are you familiar with repotrack?

not working. It brings parted.x86_64, but not resolved packages. I suspect because the resolves packages already installed (I'm x86_64 platform)
