comment How do I tell OS X's implementation of Bonjour/ZeroConf which network to use for mdns?
This question isn't about a getting a virtual machine to use a given interface, it is about getting OS X to use a given network for mdns. mdns returns my address on the 192.168.132.0/24 rather than on the 192.168.10.0/24 network when I am on wireless.

No, I need them. I use host-only, nat, and bridged VMs. The real solution will be to find out how to tell bonjour to use a given network for mdns.

Spoke too soon, after a few minutes it switched back to the VMWare ip address.

after running "/Library/Application\ Support/VMware\ Fusion/boot.sh restart" the ip address associated with osx.local is now the expected one, even after a reboot.
