I've got reasonable IT experience. Mostly just stuff at home and neat things I feel like learning. I'm a programmer by trade, but the Sysadmin/Hardware stuff is too fun not to dabble in.
It's all about the right tool for the right job. My network load out:
- File server: Solaris 11 (soon to switch to OmniOS)
- Fire wall: OpenBSD
- Desktop: Windows 7
- Development: Ubuntu Server 13.04
