Thanks for confirming my conclusion that this is not possible in 1.4. I have switched to nginx.

@ebattulga, well it seems that SMTP is not installed or it is not properly configured or simply not started.

@ebattulga, by installing the SMTP component on your server as shown in the tutorial I have linked to in my answer: learn.iis.net/page.aspx/751/configure-smtp-e-mail-in-iis-7

In addition to JohnFx comment, you may also Google for DDOS or "Distributed Denial of Service" attacks for even more information.

comment URL of localhost using IIS
Do you think that but the URL no longer works is a problem description? I don't. It's more of a rant and it would require some telepathic skills from the person answering your question in order to know what exactly is happening. What exact steps did you do? What is the expected result. What is the actual result? How does it differ from the expected result? That's how you should ask a question and not just say that something doesn't work. Not to mention that server configuration and administration questions should go to serverfault.com

comment How to go HTTPS
You will need to purchase and install an SSL certificate on your web server. Details on how this can be done (more precisely the second part) will of course depend on the web server you are using. As far as the first part is concerned feel free to checkout google. Also this is not a programming related question and is more adapted to ServerFault

Have you read the FAQ on this site (stackoverflow.com/faq)? I guess no as I don't see any relation to programming in your question.

comment .htm pages working but .aspx pages throwing errors
We were able to post the profile and searched on available jobs and it worked w/ Firefox for a day, then it just quit working. I would probably ask them to clarify the quit working part. Also you should have extensive logging in your application to analyze this kind of situations and not rely on customers to tell you what's wrong.

Who - check the IP address in your logs. Why - ask the owner of the IP.
